I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-12- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY <br />ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-11 (BITUMINOUS PAVING OF JACKEL <br />STREET FROM 153m) AVENUE TO I5IsT LANE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received a petition for a feasibility study to <br />consider the improvement of bituminous paving of Jackel Street from 153rd Avenue to 151st <br />Lane; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous paving of Jackel Street from 153rd Avenue to 151st Lane has been filed with the <br />City Council on December 14, 1999. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the <br />required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to <br />City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to <br />prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council <br />in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of <br />the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to <br />whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project #99-11. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14th day of December, 1999. <br /> <br /> <br />
