I <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />;I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-12- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND PARTIAL AND FINAL PAYMENT TO ASTECH <br />CORP. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-01 THROUGH #99-03 (1999 STREET <br />MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION B - SEALCOATING) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolutions #99-05-080 through #99-05-082 were adopted by Ramsey City <br />Council on May 11, 1999, authorizing the preparation of plans and specifications for the above <br />referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />1999, approving the <br />referenced work; and <br /> <br />Resolution #99-06-104 was adopted by Ramsey City Council on June 8, <br />plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above- <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 8, 1999, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #99-06-104 <br />awarding the bid to ASTECH Corp. for,the 1999 Street Maintenance Program - Division B - <br />Sealcoating (Improvement Projects #99-01 through #99-03); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, previous payment has been made to ASTECH Corp. for the 1999 Street <br />Maintenance Program - Division B - Sealcoating (Improvement Projects #99-01 through #99-03) <br />in the amount of $38,776.95; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends final payment to ASTECH Corp. in the amount of $3,804.89. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to ASTECH Corp. for the 1999 <br />Street Maintenance Program - Division - Sealcoating (Improvement Projects #99-01 <br />through #99-03) in the amount of $3,804.89. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the.Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of December 1999. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />
