CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION (CLOSED PORTION) <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a Closed Session on Tuesday, February 12, 2018, at the <br /> Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Mayor Sarah Strommen <br /> Councilmember Jill Johns <br /> Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Melody Shryock <br /> Members Absent: Councilmember John LeTourneau <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br /> Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Patrick Brama <br /> Vice President of Land Services with CBRE Brian Pankratz <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Strommen called the Closed Session of the City Council to order at 6:15 p.m. <br /> 2. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> 2.04: Pricing Strategy <br /> Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Brama presented the pricing table to <br /> the Council, noting that should be the focus of the discussion tonight. <br /> Councilmember Johns stated that she likes the addition of identifying the shovel ready sites. <br /> Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Brama provided additional details on <br /> the items included on the pricing table. He reported that the EDA also discussed this topic in <br /> closed session and recommended approval of the change log and summarized the additional <br /> direction that was given from the EDA. <br /> Mr. Pankratz explained how he obtained the comparable sales and retail comparisons, providing <br /> details on the communities that were used and the period of time that was reviewed. He stated <br /> that some of the asking prices in Ramsey may be high compared to the market but noted that <br /> there is room to complete the deal within the deal range. <br /> Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Brama noted that on the regular <br /> agenda tonight, the Council will review a purchase agreement that falls within the deal range. <br /> Closed Session Meeting/February 12, 2018 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
