Voting No: None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request for Amendment to Variance; Case of Terrance Belschner <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson closed the regular portion of the Board of Adjustment meeting at 7:04 <br />p.m. in order to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson called the public hearing to order at 7:04 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that on April 6, 1999, the Board of Adjustment granted the <br />Belschner's a variance to construct their garage closer to the front property line than their home <br />at 7319 162"a Lane Northwest. The exhibit that the Belschner's submitted identified that the <br />garage would be 40 feet from the front property line. This measurement was in error; the <br />measurement was taken from the pavement edge, not the property line. The actual distance from <br />the proposed garage to the front property line is 25 feet. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained that the proposed garage will be built in the same location <br />proposed in April, but it is necessary to amend the distances in the Findings and Variance. City <br />Staff recommended rescinding the previous resolutions adopting findings of fact and variance, <br />and adopting new resolutions with the correct measurements. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Dempsey, seconded by Board Member Jensen, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Board Members Dempsey, Jensen, <br />Johnson, Kociscak, Nixt and Wivoda.
