Anoka County <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />Communications <br />December 27, 2023 <br />Contact: Erik Thorson, Communications Director, 763-324-4612, or e-mail: <br />Erik.Thorson@anokacountymn.gov <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br />Longtime Anoka County Employee Receives AMC Award <br />The Association of Minnesota Counties (AMC) recently recognized Anoka County' s Pam <br />LeBlanc with an Outstanding Service Award for her 42 years of service to the county. <br />LeBlanc currently serves as chief officer of Property Records and Taxation for the county <br />and has held several other positions during her tenure. Over the course of her career, LeBlanc has <br />worked collaboratively with other departments, community partners, counties, and professional <br />organizations. She has fostered a cohesive team atmosphere in her depaitinent and continually <br />finds ways to develop leaders in her division. <br />"I can't think of anyone more deserving who truly exemplifies what AMC looks for in <br />county service," said Commissioner Scott Schulte, chair of the county's Property Records and <br />Taxation Committee. "I'm truly proud of the work she has done for Anoka County." <br />LeBlanc is the previous president of the Minnesota Association of County Officers and <br />continues to be an active member of that organization by serving on the legislative committee. She <br />also currently serves as part of the AMC Tax Forfeiture Work Group. <br />Each year since 1977, AMC has recognized valuable innovations and improvements in <br />county government with County Achievement Awards. Awards were presented at the AMC <br />Annual Conference Dec. 4-6.
