Positively
impact T_
LH
your city!-
For more information or
to apply, please visit
www.cityoframseycom/boards
or call Human Resources at 763-433-9866.
Holiday Lights Recycling
The Ramsey Municipal Center will
again serve as a drop-off location for
recycling holiday lights, extension,
telephone and appliance cords. They
can be dropped off at the Ramsey
Municipal Center (7550 Sunwood
Drive NW) during regular business
hours, Monday through Friday,
8:00 am-4:30 pm, now until the end of January 2024.
A collection cart will be in the main lobby of the building.
There is no cost to residents for this service. Please DO
NOT put strands of holiday lights in your recycling cart.
They are not accepted as a material through the curbside
recycling program, as they cause a lot of issues at the
materials recovery facilities. If light strands are mounted
on plastic `framing' (used to form shapes such as snowmen,
stars, etc.), the plastic framing must be removed and
disposed of in your garbage.
Recycle Excess Cardboard Boxes
Around the holidays, it seems
as though many of us end up with
lots of extra cardboard boxes that
won't necessarily fit in the curbside
recycling cart. Well, we've got you
covered! Now until January 19,
two dumpsters will be available for
residents to recycle all those extra
cardboard boxes. The dumpsters will
be at the old Public Works campus,
14100 Jasper Street NW. Please
flatten all boxes to help conserve space in the dumpsters.
These dumpsters are for cardboard and other recyclable
paper only.
Mondays
10:00 a.m.-noon
January 8 Mindful Mandalas
January 22 Zentangles
February 12 Layering and Lines
February 26 Oil Pastel Landscape
2024 Parks and Recreation Events
The Ramsey Parks and Recreation team is excited about
the upcoming 2024 programs.
