Schedule: <br />A schedule for delivery/placement shall be coordinated between the City and Contractor <br />in February — following a playground refurbishment project. Once work has commenced, <br />the Contractor shall continuously pursue completion in accordance with the approved <br />schedule. The goal of these specifications is to minimize the number of days the <br />playground is out of service. <br />Payment: <br />Payment will be made upon submittal of an invoice to the City on a net 30-day basis <br />following City acceptance of the work (there will be no partial payments, nor change <br />orders). <br />Quotation Duration: <br />The Contractor in submitting their quote, acknowledges the amount shall be honored for a <br />period of 60 days from the date of submission. Fuel costs must be included within the <br />quoted amounts. <br />Specifications: <br />The Contractor shall conduct his/her work in conformance with the specifications set forth <br />herein, and in accordance with safe construction practices. Further: <br />• Engineered Wood Fiber must be IPEMA Certified (Virgin Pine Chips or Natures <br />Plus Tamarack —to be specified on the Quotation Form) . <br />• Documentation must be provided from the EWF manufacturer that it meets ASTM <br />1951 standards. <br />• The existing EWF in place is 3-years old and 'springy' the new EWF is to add to the <br />total depth and to freshen the entire area within the boulder containment border. <br />The volume of new material delivered or placed, shall be a minimum of 6" inches <br />in depth for all areas within 6' feet of any play structure or feature within the <br />containment border. For all other areas within the boulder containment border and <br />more than 6' feet from an3� play structure or feature the depth shall be a minimum <br />of 2" inches. <br />• Delivery and placement shall be in the location(s) shown below, at the park at 14201 <br />Waco Street, Ramsey MN 55303. <br />,,, End of Specifications -- <br />3 1 F1 a <br />
