5. 2. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 01/23/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Enhance City's communication through transparency and accountability. <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Approve Amending City Council Meeting Schedule for 2024 <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> Purpose: To amend the meeting schedule for the City Council due to political party caucuses being held on the <br /> regularly scheduled February meeting date,the State Primary election in August falling on the same date as a <br /> regular City Council meeting, and to cancel the last regular meeting in December. <br /> If approved, the February 27, 2024, City Council meeting will be rescheduled to Monday, February 26, 2024. The <br /> August 13, 2024, City Council meeting will be rescheduled to Monday,August 12, 2024, and the December 24, <br /> 2024,meeting will be canceled altogether, as has been done in the past.
