Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #24-038 <br /> APPROVING YOUTH FIRST COMMUNITY OF PROMISE LEASE AGREEMENT AT <br /> 6701 HWY 10 NW <br /> WHEREAS, Youth First Community of Promise has leased City property located at <br /> 6701 Hwy 10 NW since 2007; and <br /> WHEREAS, the current Lease for the east 4,820 SF of space in the front of 6701 Hwy <br /> 10 NW and the adjacent Vacant Lot terminated on December 31, 2023 and Youth First <br /> Community of Promise has asked the City to extend those leases until December 31, 2024; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has provided previous leases to with Youth First with <br /> favorable terms intentionally to support their mission and work. The terms of the proposed one <br /> year lease of the East 4,820 SF of 6701 Hwy 10 NW and the Adjacent Vacant Land are as <br /> follows: <br /> - January 1, 2024—December 31, 2024 - $1.00 annually <br /> WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the proposed Lease Agreement that <br /> combines the East 4,280 SF of the front of 6701 Hwy 10 and the adjacent Vacant Lot and has <br /> found the terms to be consistent with previous leases with Youth First except for the duration <br /> being shortened to 1 year to allow for the RALF properties to be sold and to provide a 90 day <br /> written notice to terminate by the tenant. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA <br /> COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Lease Agreement with Youth First <br /> Community of Promise for the East 4,280 SF of the front of 6701 Hwy 10 NW and the <br /> adjacent Vacant Lot; subject to City Attorney review. <br /> That the motion for the adoption of the forgoing resolution was duty seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br />
