Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#24-042 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR JUNIPER WOODS 1ST — 3" STREET <br /> RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-12 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Juniper Woods 1 St, <br /> 2nd, and 3rd subdivision as identified within the 2023 —2032 10-Year Capital Improvement Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-130, adopted June 13, 2023, the <br /> City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic survey of the <br /> project area; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-129, adopted June 27, 2023, the <br /> City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc., for a <br /> geotechnical report of the project area; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#23-202, adopted August 22,2023,the <br /> City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Juniper Woods 1 St—3rd Street <br /> Reconstructions, Improvement Project#24-12; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising <br /> for bids for Juniper Woods 1 St—3rd Street Reconstruction, Improvement Project#24-12. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the City <br /> Engineer and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City Improvement Project <br /> #24-12, Juniper Woods 1st—3rd Street Reconstructions. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br /> upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />
