Our tank manufacture, Arrow Tank & Engineering Co., was unable to meet our design timeline
due to work force issues which led to significant delays in design drawings being completed
for the bulk storage tank.
2. Additional to the delay in completion of design drawings for the tank, material shortages
would not have allowed for the tank to be delivered in 2022.
3. Once CenterPoint Energy determined the project could not be completed in 2022 it decided
to shift the budget for this project to 2023.
4. At this time, I am in the process of reviewing the final design drawings from our tank
manufacturer, however they have not been able to provide to me a delivery date for the tank
yet.
5. Due to the uncertainty of the completion and delivery of the tank CenterPoint Energy has
shifted this budget to 2024 to ensure the capital expenditure is available when the material is
ready for installation.
If this extension is approved, we intend to begin site improvements at the end of winter or beginning
of spring in 2024.
1 apologize for these delays, it was never my intent to have the project delayed at all, let alone this
long.
Thank you,
Dustin Daniels
Supervisor,Technical Field Operations I MN Region
