CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 1999, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota <br />55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:12 p.m. and <br />requested that Councilmember Zimmerman lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced that the Ramsey Women of Today are offering a scholarship to <br />an eligible high school senior. Information is available by calling Roseanne at 421-7506. <br />The Ramsey Lions will sponsor a pancake breakfast, which will coincide with youth <br />athletic sign-up. It is to be held on March 7, 1999, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Lord of Life <br />Lutheran Church in Ramsey. Mayor Gamec also extended a thank you to Commercial <br />Asphalt for their donation of $500 to be used in the City's parks to benefit youth. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen noted that Cases #1 and #6 both deal with Anoka County <br />Community Action Program and are somewhat related, plus the same people are present <br />for both cases, and he suggested they be moved together on the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Haas Steffen to <br />approve the agenda as amended, moving Case #6 up to Case #lA. <br /> <br />City Council/February 9, 1999 <br /> Page 2 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
