CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E Norman <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order and called upon <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the agenda shows that the State of the City Address was going <br />to be presented. He explained that the State of the City Address is actually given at the <br />Commission Appreciation Dinner and then published in the Ramsey Resident. He <br />disseminated a draft of the City's annual report and added that this too would be <br />published in the Ramsey Resident. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he has had a few telephone calls about snowmobiling again. He <br />pleaded with the snowmobilers to please respect other people's property and to please <br />abide by the rules. He pointed out that snowmobiling in the City is a privilege and it can <br />be revoked if necessary. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented Finance Officer Lund with a plaque received from the Finance <br />Officers Association, commemorating excellence in financial reporting. <br /> <br />City Council/March 9, 1999 <br /> Page 2 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
