Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#24-059 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROJECT #21-09, CENTRALIZED WATER TREATMENT PLANT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-061 adopted March 28, <br /> 2023, the City of Ramsey awarded a construction contract for the purpose of constructing a <br /> Centralized Water Treatment Plant with Magney Construction in the amount of$31,528,500; and <br /> WHEREAS, the contract was not bid with prevailing wages being applied against the <br /> proj ect; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Ramsey was award$3,200,000 in State Bonding Proceeds during <br /> the 2023 Minnesota Legislative Session; and <br /> WHEREAS, projects utilizing State Bonding proceeds have an eligibility requirement of <br /> paying prevailing wages during the project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Magney Construction has submitted Change Order No. 1, which applies <br /> prevailing wages to the project. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer/Public Works Director to <br /> execute Change Order No. 1 for Improvement Project #21-09, Centralized Water <br /> Treatment Plant, for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey in the amount of$794,153.71. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br /> and the following were absent: <br />
