Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #06-06-_ <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br /> REQUEST TO ALLOW FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE ON AN UNIMPROVED <br /> SURFACE ON A PARCEL ZONED R-1 RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RV World, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied <br /> to the City of t~amsey (the "City") for an interim use permit for outdoor storage on an <br /> unimproved surface on the property located at 14453 Llama St NW and legally described as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> The Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 32, Range <br /> 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> (the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br /> to Section 9.03.06 of the Ramsey City Code on May 4, 2006, and that the public heating was <br /> properly advertised and that the minutes of said public heating are hereby incorporated by <br /> reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-I Residential; the adjacent parcels to the east, west, and <br /> south are zoned R-I Residential and the property to the north is zoned B-2 Business. <br /> <br /> 3. That the Subject Property is approximately forty (40) acres. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicant operates an RV dealership located at 7405 Highway 10 NW. <br /> <br />5. That the Applicant has an agreement with the owner of the Subject Property to utilize the <br /> land for off-site storage of surplus Recreational Vehicles (RVs) and travel trailers. <br /> <br />6. That the R- 1 Residential District does not permit this type of outdoor storage. <br /> <br />7. That the RVs and travel trailers are currently stored on an unimproved surface on the Subject <br /> Property. <br /> <br />8. That interim use permits, by definition, are limited to a maximum timeframe of five (5) years. <br /> <br />9. That the Applicant is requesting an interim use permit to allow for the storage of up to sixty <br /> (60) P, Vs and/or travel trailers on the Subject Property for five (5) years. <br /> <br />I0. That the City has issued two interim use permits for outdoor storage as a secondary principal <br /> use on a parcel zoned E-2 Employment the past two years.
