Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #A: <br /> <br />Sketch Plan Review for the Preserve at Sunfish Lake; Case of Pulte Homes <br />Corporation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sherman stated that Pulte Home Corporation has submitted a <br />sketch plan for the Kurak property located around Sunfish Lake and Sunwood Drive. The plan is <br />mixed residential project with a variety of townhomes and single-family homes proposed. <br />Consistent with the process followed in the Apple Ridge subdivision, the applicant has requested <br />Council review their sketch plan. <br /> <br />Gary Grant, Vice President of Construction for PuRe, stated that they appreciated the input that <br />was received from residents during the neighborhood meeting. He explained that the main <br />concern from residents revolved around the eight-unit court home, which was designed for <br />younger families. They asked the residents if the court homes were removed from the plan <br />would they have more support of the project. Many of the neighbors stated they would support <br />the proj eot if the court homes were removed. Mr. Grant explained that the Planning Commission <br />voted unanimously for Pulte to proceed onto preliminary plat.
