CITIZEN INPUT

Mark Wilson, 14761 Erkium Street Northwest, Ramsey, stated that recently there was a road
extension being reviewed on Sunwood Drive and discussion on ACCAP housing. After
discussing the addition of sidewalk along Sunwood Drive with his neighbors, he requested that
the Council consider no sidewalk between County Road #5 and Erkium Street. He stated that all
of the paths should go up to the parks. He presented a petition from 30 neighbors requesting that
there be no trail/sidewalk on Sunwood Drive from County Road #5 and Erkium Street.

Mayor Gamec noted that the item was on the agenda to be discussed and suggested moving the
Sunwood Drive discussion to the top of the agenda following the public hearing.

APPROVE AGENDA

Mayor Gamec requested that Sunwood Drive be discussed after the public hearing as Case A.

Councilmember Zimmerman added Case #7A Update on Barium Street.

Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to approve the
agenda as amended.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Connolly, Zimmerman,
Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Absent: None.

CONSENT AGENDA

Items #10 and #11 were added to the consent agenda.

Councilmember Anderson stated that on page 20 of the August 24, 1999 meeting minutes, that it
should read "this vehicle was forfeited by a local drug dealer" rather than "donate".

Councilmember Connolly questioned if adding the wording onto the City vehicle would cause
problems with vandalism.

Police Chief Gustafson stated that they have had no vandalism to their police vehicles.

City Attorney Goodrich stated that if the wording is included on the vehicle, the vehicle can be
used for any City purpose but must be made available for DARE use.

Mayor Gamec suggested having City Attorney Goodrich and Director of Public Works/Fire
Chief Kapler make a decision in regards to the wording to be placed on the truck. The Council
agreed.

City Council/September 14, 1999
