During 1994, the City adopted Ordinance #94-13, which allows for the certification of
payments for current services that are delinquent as of September 1, of each year. This is the
fifth year that the City of Ramsey will be certifying delinquent payments as assessments to be
collected with property taxes payable in 2000. The total delinquent payments as of the writing of
this case was $13,623.87 [which includes penalties and interest]. This amount is anticipated to
change after collections through September 28, 1999, are posted. The new amount will be the
amount to be included in the resolution for certification. Any payments received after September
28, 1999, and through November 5, 1999, will be indicated as "prepaid" when the list is
transmitted to Anoka County for certification.

Citizen Input

None.

Motion to by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Cormolly, to close the
public hearing.

The public hearing closed at 8:21 p.m.

Motion carried.
