2) Finance Committee <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to disband the <br />Finance Committee and make it part of the regular Council agenda. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Zimmerman stated that one of the reasons for having <br />committee meetings is to cut down the time of Council meetings and allow for more discussion. <br />He thinks committees are a vital process. Councilmember Connolly stated that she would like to <br />explore other options before the Committee is disbanded. City Attorney Goodrich suggested that <br />the City Administrator give some input on the Committees. <br /> <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Coun¢ilmembers Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: Mayor <br />Gamec, Councilmember Connolly, and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />3) Watershed Meetings <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that there is a problem with Councilmembers being able to <br />attend the Water Shed meetings. <br /> <br />Councihnember Connolly stated that she is unable to attend the meetings for the Water Shed <br />consistently. <br /> <br />Council discussed the Legislature changes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that she would be willing to attend the meetings. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to appoint Councilmember <br />Anderson as the Council representative to the Water Management Board. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, Connolly, <br />and Zimmerman.
