<br /> NOTICE O1: PUBLIC HEARING

<br />fO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
<br /> Notice is hereby given that the Ramsey
<br />City Council will meet at 7:00 p.m. on
<br />Tuesday, September 28, 1999, to pass upon
<br />the proposed assessment for past-due charges
<br />on your utility bill, which may include water,
<br />sewer, street lighting, recycling charges, and
<br />penalties incurred.
<br /> Affected property owners may at any time,
<br />between September 29, 1999 and November 5,
<br />1999, (prior to certification of the assessment to
<br />the Anoka County Au.ditor) pay to the City of
<br />Ramsey, the entire assessment. No interest shall
<br />be charged if the entire assessment is paid by
<br />November 5, 1999. If an affected property
<br />owner decides not to prepay the assessment by
<br />November 5, 1999, the rate of interest that will
<br />apply is 8.00 percent per year and will accrue
<br />from the date of adoption (September 2B,
<br />1999) to December 31. The right to partially
<br />prepay the assessment is not available.
<br /> The proposed assessment roll is on file for
<br />public inspection at the City Administrator's
<br />office. The principal amount of the proposed
<br />assessment is $21,982.94. If you wish tO object
<br />to the assessment of unpaid utilities, you may
<br />file your written or oral objection at the
<br />Assessment Hearing at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday,
<br />September 28, 1999, at the Ramsey Municipal
<br />Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W,,
<br />Ramsey, Minnesota.
<br /> If you wish, you may appeal the assess-
<br />ment of unpaid utilities to Anoka County
<br />District Court under Minnesota Statutes,
<br />Section 429.081. To do so you must:
<br />1. File a signed, written objection to the
<br /> amount of that assessment, prior to the
<br /> September 28, 1999 Assessment Hearing,
<br /> or present the written objection to the .pre-
<br /> siding officer at the Hearing.
<br />2. Serve notice of the appeal to the Mayor or
<br /> the City Clerk within 30 days after the
<br /> adopti6n of the assessment and file such
<br /> notice with the District Court within 10
<br /> days after the notice was served to the
<br /> Mayor or the City Clerk.

<br />Friday, the day of ,1999, and printed below is a copy of the lower case alphabet from
<br />A to Z, both inclusive, which is hereby acknowledged as being the size and kind of type
<br />used in the composition and publication of the notice:
