CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 1999, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James Norman <br />Administrative Services Manager Joyce Pruitt Hottinger <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Deputy City Clerk Jo Thieling <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and called <br />upon Jake Isle to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that Jake Isle is in the process of receiving his Citizenship badge. <br /> <br />PROCLIMATION - MAYOR GAMEC <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec read a proclamation declaring October Domestic Violence Awareness Month. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Barry Childs, 6040 - 151st Lane NW, Ramsey, stated that many residents of Ramsey are not <br />aware that a Comprehensive Plan has not yet been approved and questioned how close the plan is <br />to being completed. He inquired as to what issues are holding up the final draft of the plan and <br />what the next plan of action is going to be. Mr. Childs also questioned as to an estimated time <br /> <br />City Council/October 12, 1999 <br /> Page 2 of 28 <br /> <br /> <br />
