<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR BARTHEL’S RUM
<br />RIVER ACRES AND WHITE PINES ESTATES STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS,
<br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-01
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Barthel’s Rum
<br />River Acres and White Pines Estates subdivisions; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-130, adopted June 13, 2023,
<br />the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic survey
<br />of the project area; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-129, adopted June 27, 2023,
<br />the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc., for a
<br />geotechnical report of the project area; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-197, adopted August 22, 2023,
<br />the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Barthel’s Rum River
<br />Acres and White Pines Estates Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project #24-01; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-250, adopted October 10, 2023,
<br />the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hydro-Klean, LLC, for cleaning and televising
<br />of storm sewer pipes within the project area; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution # 23-297, adopted November 28,
<br />2023 the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and
<br />authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking and As-built Survey of
<br />$37,670.00 from Bolton and Menk, Inc. for said improvements; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on December 1 and December
<br />8, 2023; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, nine (9) bids were received, opened and tabulated on February 21, 2024, and the
<br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for
<br />bids; and
