CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 23, 1999, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James Norman <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Planning Consultant Jon Scazlo <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Hendriksen to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec introduced Devon Sheet from Anoka High School attending the City Council <br />meeting for a school project. <br /> <br />Devon Sheet stated that he is required to have a certain number of hours in City participation for <br />his Government class. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec introduced County Commissioner Dennis Berg and County Engineer Jon Olson, <br />explaining that they were in attendance to discuss the T.H. #47 funding. He questioned if it <br />would be possible to have flashers placed on the stop signs at Dysprosium and #116. <br /> <br />Commissioner Berg replied that a number of signs were posted to notify people of the control <br />change at the intersection, but noted he will follow up on the issue. <br /> <br />City Council/November 23, 1999 <br /> Page 2 of 25 <br /> <br /> <br />
