• <br />Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -04 -174 <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL -TIME PATROL <br />OFFICER JEFF KATERS <br />WHEREAS, Jeff Katers was hired as a full -time Patrol Officer for the City of Ramsey <br />and began working on March 29, 2000, subject to a one -year probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, Jeff Katers successfully completed his probationary period and his <br />performance was documented by the Police Chief and Sergeant Robert Kuhn; and <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its April 10, 2001, meeting agreed with the <br />staff recommendation to end the probationary period for full -time Patrol Officer, effective March <br />29, 2001. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to end the probationary period of full -time Patrol Officer Jeff <br />Katers effective March 29, 2001. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Galilee <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
