That City Fire Chief has stated that the current maximum reach capability of the Fire <br />Department for fire suppression and rescue operations is 35 feet, but the capital plan <br />includes acquisition of an Aerial Ladder Truck scheduled for purchase, target date of <br />2002, that will have a reach capability of 80 feet or more. <br />7. That the Applicant needs a minimum building height of 44 -feet in order to facilitate a <br />new indoor crane. <br />8. That the Uniform Building Code will require that structure to be equipped with a fire <br />suppression system (automatic sprinkler system). <br />9. That the special conditions causing the undue hardship, restrictions based on fire <br />suppression reach capabilities, do not result from the actions of the Applicant. <br />10. That if granted, the variance will not grant any special privilege that is denied to other <br />owners of lands, structures or buildings in the same district. <br />11. That if granted, the variance will not impair an adequate supply of light and air to <br />adjacent property. <br />12. That if granted, the variance will not be materially detrimental to the purposes of the <br />Ramsey Zoning Chapter or other property in the Business District. <br />13.
