Board Member Kociscak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01 -05 -196 A RESOLUTION DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. WHEREAS, Old Castle Precast requested a variance from the height restrictions in the Business Warehouse District on the property legally described as follows: The East half of Southeast quarter of Southwest quarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25,except that part described as follows: Commencing at Northwest corner of said East half, thence South along west line of said East half 409.44 feet to point of beginning, thence East at right angle 11 feet, thence South at right angle 264 feet, thence West at right angle to West line of said East half, thence North along said West line to point of beginning, except road subject to easement of record, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property "); and WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment met on May 1, 2001, conducted the public hearing and adopted findings of fact relating to the request for a variance from height restrictions. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows 1. Based on Findings of Fact #0551, a variance to height restrictions is hereby denied. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Board Member Wivoda and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Vice - Chairperson Kociscak Board Member Wivoda Board Member Sweet Board Member Watson and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
