Board Member Kociscak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -05 -196 <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE AND DECLARING <br />TERMS OF SAME. <br />WHEREAS, Old Castle Precast requested a variance from the height restrictions in the <br />Business Warehouse District on the property legally described as follows: <br />The East half of Southeast quarter of Southwest quarter of Section 27, Township <br />32, Range 25,except that part described as follows: <br />Commencing at Northwest corner of said East half, thence South along west line <br />of said East half 409.44 feet to point of beginning, thence East at right angle 11 <br />feet, thence South at right angle 264 feet, thence West at right angle to West line <br />of said East half, thence North along said West line to point of beginning, except <br />road subject to easement of record, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property "); and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment met on May 1, 2001, conducted the public hearing <br />and adopted findings of fact relating to the request for a variance from height restrictions. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact #0551, a variance to height restrictions is hereby denied. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Board Member <br />Wivoda and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Vice - Chairperson Kociscak <br />Board Member Wivoda <br />Board Member Sweet <br />Board Member Watson <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
