• <br />Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -08 -265 <br />RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $8,500 FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY <br />FUND TO THE BUDGET OF MAYOR & COUNCIL FOR CHICAGO SMART <br />GROWTH TOUR. <br />WHEREAS, during the year 2001, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting <br />expenditures budgets of the City's General Fund for items that were not included in the original <br />budget for the year ended December 31, 2001; <br />WHEREAS, included in the 2001 General Fund budget was $101,745 under the Council <br />Contingency, or Expenditure Reserve Fund to be used for items that were not included in the <br />various departments budgeted line items;and <br />WHEREAS, $8,500 was authorized by City Council on August 14, 2001, as the amount <br />to be funded for the Opportunity Site tour; and <br />WHEREAS, $8,500 will be transferred to the 2001 operating budget of Mayor & <br />Council to cover the costs of the tour. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That $8,500 will be transferred from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Mayor & <br />Council for the funding of the Opportunity Site tour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Galilee <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />and the following voted against: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
