• Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01 -08 -266 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT FAX MACHINE AND TRANSFERRING $900.00 FROM THE EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND TO GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, at the Finance Committee of August 14, 2001, staff presented a request for the purchase of a replacement fax machine for the police department; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the replacement fax machine can be funded from the Equipment Replacement Fund utilizing funding established from the outdated fax machine; and WHEREAS, this purchase would require a budget amendment to reallocate $900.00 from the Equipment Replacement Fund to the General Fund. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of a replacement fax machine in the amount not to exceed $1000.00. 2. The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment to the General Fund from the Equipment Replacement Fund in the amount of $900.00. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Kurak and the following voted against: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None
