• Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />• <br />RESOLUTION #01 -08 -269 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 4 PARTIAL PAYMENT TO MEADOWVALE <br />CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99 -67, (MISSISSIPPI RIVER <br />STORMWATER SUBDRAINAGE DISTRICT NO. 1) <br />WHEREAS, on April 11, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Improvement Project <br />#99 -67 (Mississippi River Stormwater Subdrainage District No. 1) as a non - assessment project; and <br />WHEREAS, September 13, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00 -09 -233 <br />awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99 -67 to Meadowvale Construction in the amount of <br />$294,128.00; and <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and <br />recommended partial payment to Meadowvale Construction in the amount of $15,535.35. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />III 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Meadowvale Construction for <br />Improvement Project #99 -67 in the amount of $15,535.35. <br />2. That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release <br />form for this payment. <br />3. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br />for the date of August 28, 2001. <br />4. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />RESOLUTION #01 - - 269 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
