• <br />• <br />Couneilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -08 -278 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ANOKA COUNTY TO WITHHOLD CERTAIN TAX <br />FORFEIT LANDS FROM PUBLIC SALE <br />WHEREAS, the following described parcels have been noticed by Anoka County as <br />being tax forfeit; <br />CHESTNUT RIDGE 2ND ADD <br />26- 32 -25 -13 -0060 <br />26- 32 -25 -13 -0061 <br />CHESTNUT RIDGE 3 ADD <br />26- 32 -25 -12 -0033 <br />AND WHEREAS, said parcels are comprised of unbuildable wetlands in the Chestnut <br />Ridge 2 " and Chestnut Ridge 3 Addition; and <br />WHEREAS, the highest and best use of said parcels would be public open space. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Administrator is hereby directed to request that Anoka County withhold <br />said parcels from public sale. <br />2) That the City hereby makes application for acquisition of said parcels for public open <br />space purposes. <br />3) That the City Administrator is authorized to expend the necessary fees to transfer fee title <br />ownership to the City. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />RESOLUTION #01 -08 -278 <br />PAGE 1 OF 2 <br />
