• Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: • • RESOLUTION #01 -08 -319 RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL -TIME PUBLIC WORKS LEAD PERSON WHEREAS, John Nelson was hired as a full -time Public Works Lead Person for the City of Ramsey and began work in this position on February 14, 2001, subject to a six -month probationary period; and WHEREAS, John Nelson successfully completed his probationary period and his performance was documented by the Public Works Director and Parks/Utilities Supervisor; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its August 28, 2001, meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for the full -time Public Works Lead Person, effective August 14, 2001. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full -time Public Works Lead Person effective August 14, 2001. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None
