Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -10 -381 <br />RESOLUTION TO RETAIN SRF, INC. TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FOR <br />THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CORRIDOR STUDY FOR CR 116 <br />WHEREAS, CR 116 is an important anterial transportation corridor which services <br />existing and future commercial and industrial developments within the Cities of Ramsey <br />and Anoka, and <br />WHEREAS, CR 116 provides a vital segment to the transportation network of western <br />Anoka County, and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey has entered into a joint powers agreement with Anoka <br />County and the City of Anoka to prepare a corridor study for the segment of CR 116 <br />from Seventh Avenue to US Highway 10, and <br />WHEREAS, proposals have been received from three qualified consulting firms and <br />have been reviewed by a panel comprised of representatives for Anoka County, the City <br />of Ramsey, and the City of Anoka, and <br />WHEREAS, said panel has recommended that SRF, Inc. be retained to perform the <br />Study, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the firm SRF, Inc. be retained to perform the CR 116 Corridor Study in accordance with <br />their proposal date September 7, 2001 at a cost not to exceed $43,970 <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />And the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />III And the following abstained: <br />
