Councilmember Hendriksen moved for the adoption of the following findings of fact: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -10 -382 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0579 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A CELLUAR ANTENNA <br />SYSTEM ON CITY PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, Verizon Wireless, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant ", has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to install and operate a cellular antenna system on the <br />City's water tower located on the property legally described as follows: <br />OUTLOT B, AEC ENERGY PARK, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />(the "Subject Property ") <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on August 7, 2001, and that said <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated by reference. <br />2. That the Subject Property is located in the BW Business Warehouse District, is <br />approximately 2.95 acre in size, and is owned by the City of Ramsey. <br />3. That the surrounding parcels are currently zoned BW Business Warehouse. <br />4. That the Applicant is proposing to lease space from the City to allow for a cellular <br />antenna system on the outside of the water tower and to construct an approved equipment <br />structure on the ground floor inside of the water tower. <br />5. That the applicant has offered to place any equipment space needs in the future on the 2nd <br />floor mezzanine level if requested to do so. <br />6. That Applicant has stated that the proposed use will not increase the water tower <br />maintenance costs to the City, will not unreasonably interfere with water tower <br />maintenance, will not increase the risks of contamination to the City's water supply, and <br />will not cause interference to any other broadcast systems, including law enforcement, <br />fire and ambulance services. <br />7. That the Applicant has stated that there will be no personnel stationed at the site on a <br />permanent basis. <br />
