• <br />• <br />• <br />Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -10 -390 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 5 PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ERICKSON <br />CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #00 -35 (141 AVENUE <br />N.W./EBONY STREET N.W. STREET AND UTILITY CONSTRUCTION) <br />WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved Resolution #01-03 - <br />164A approving the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 24, 2001, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-04 - <br />xxx awarding the bid for Improvement Project #00 -35, 141 Avenue N.W./Ebony Street N.W. <br />Street and Utility Construction project to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of <br />$493,392.80; and <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of $185,913.05. <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended second partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of <br />$230,733.39. <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended third partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of $13,630.27. <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended fourth partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of $34,632.85. <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended fifth partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of $18,570.97. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Erickson Construction, Inc. <br />for Improvement Project #00 -35, 141 Avenue N.W./Ebony Street N.W. Street and <br />Utility Construction project in the amount of $18,570.97 on October 23` 2001. <br />2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form <br />for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of October, 2001. <br />RESOLUTION #01 -10 -390 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
