• Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01 -12 -429 RESOLUTION TO DENY A REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R- 1, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, B -1, BUSINESS AND B -2, BUSINESS TO MR, HIGH DENSITY MULTI FAMILY RESIDENTIAL URBAN. WI- IEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and WHEREAS, Edina Development, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to rezone certain property from B -1 Business and B -2, Business to MR High Density Multi Family Urban Residential; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of the City Code on September 10, 2001; and WHEREAS, the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying westerly of the center line of State Trunk Highway No. 47; and That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying north of the South 413.75 feet of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and lying westerly of the center line of State Trunk Highway No. 47; and That part of the South 413.75 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying westerly of the center line of State Trunk Highway No. 47; (" Subject Property"); and WI- IEREAS, the City has designated the Subject Property as commercial in the current comprehensive plan; and WI- IEREAS, on December 11, 2001, the City Council adopted Findings of Fact #0587 relating to the Applicant's request to rezone the Subject Property. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
