• <br />Counci lmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -12 -431 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99 -52 <br />(CONSTRUCTION OF SUNWOOD DRIVE NW BETWEEN SUNFISH LAKE <br />BOULEVARD AND COUNTY ROAD #116) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant the Ramsey City Council, the City Engineer has prepared <br />plans and speci Ccations for the construction of Sunwood Drive between Sunfish Lake Boulevard <br />and County Road 116. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof, are hereby approved. <br />2) That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the City of Ramsey's <br />official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the <br />making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br />advertisement shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state <br />that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January <br />16, 2002, at which time they will be publicly opened in Ramsey Municipal Center by the <br />City Engineer and the City Clerk (or their representatives), will then be tabulated, and will be <br />considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 in the <br />Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of <br />the bid will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No <br />bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator and accompanied <br />by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Ramsey <br />for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Hendrikson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />RESOLUTION #01 -12 -431 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
