400 <br />RESOLUTION #01 -12 -442 <br />4 110 <br />Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0594 AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO <br />EXCEED WALL SIGN SQUARE FOOTAGE RESTRICTIONS. <br />WHEREAS, Anchor's Away Inc. and Crosstown Sign properly applied for a conditional <br />use permit to exceed wall sign square footage restrictions as established in City Code on the <br />property generally known as 6745 State Highway #10 and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Deal Industrial Park, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />(Subject Property). <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on December 4, 2001, conducted the public <br />hearing and recommended the City Council approve the request. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact #0594, a conditional use permit ( "Permit ") to exceed wall sign <br />square footage restrictions is hereby granted to Anchor's Away Inc. and Crosstown Sign <br />( "Permittees "). <br />2. The Permittee is herein granted permission to erect an awning sign with a maximum surface <br />area of 315 square feet and no part of the awning shall extend beyond the building parapet. <br />3. The awning sign shall be installed on the front and a portion of the east and west sides of the <br />building. <br />4. The existing wall signs must be removed from the property prior to issuance of a sign permit. <br />5. The Permittee and its successors or assigns, herein forfeit all rights for further wall signs, <br />other than address numbers. <br />6. The installation of the wall sign on the Subject Property shall require a sign permit from the <br />City of Ramsey. <br />7. The Permittee is responsible for obtaining all other sign permits required by Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation (MnDot). <br />
