SECTION 08 71 00 _ ASI-001 <br /> DOOR HARDWARE <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.1 CONDITIONS <br /> A. Conditions of the contract (General and Supplementary Conditions) and Division One General <br /> Requirements, govern the work of this section. <br /> B. This section includes all material and related service necessary to furnish all finish hardware <br /> indicated on the drawings or specified herein. <br /> C. Furnish UL listed hardware for all labeled and 20 min. openings in conformance with the <br /> requirements for the class of opening scheduled. UL requirements shall have precedence over <br /> specification where conflicts exist. <br /> D. All work shall be in accordance with all applicable state and local building codes. Code <br /> requirements shall have precedence over this specification where conflicts exist. <br /> 1.2 WORK INCLUDED <br /> A. This section includes the following: <br /> 1. Finish door hardware for hollow metal, wood and aluminum doors specified herein, listed in <br /> the hardware schedule, and/or required by the drawings. <br /> 2. Thresholds and Weather-stripping (Aluminum frame seals to be provided by aluminum door <br /> supplier) <br /> 3. Electro-Mechanical Devices <br /> 4. Access Control components and or systems specified within this section. <br /> B. Where items of hardware are not definitely or correctly specified and is required for the intended <br /> service, such omission, error or other discrepancy should be directed to the Architect prior to the <br /> bid date for clarification by addendum. Otherwise furnish such items in the type and quantity <br /> established by this specification for the appropriate service intended. <br /> 1.3 RELATED WORK IN OTHER SECTIONS <br /> A.
