Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#24-070 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR JUNIPER WOODS 1ST—3" STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-12 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Juniper Woods 1 St, 2nd, and 3rd subdivision as identified within the 2023 —2032 10-Year Capital Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-130, adopted June 13, 2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic survey of the project area; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-129, adopted June 27, 2023, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc., for a geotechnical report of the project area; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#23-202, adopted August 22,2023,the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Juniper Woods 1 St—3rd Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project#24-12; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#24-042, adopted January 23, 2024 the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and WHEREAS,proposals were received for Construction Staking and As-built Survey of$12,024.00 from Bolton and Menk, Inc. for said improvements; and WHEREAS,bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on January 26 and February 2,2024; and WHEREAS,six(6)bids were received,opened and tabulated on March 4,2024,and the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids; and Contractor Base Bid Alt Bid (Trail) Total Bid North Valley, Inc. $350,264.27 $621105.82 $4121370.09 Knife River Corporation $3621122.66 $621773.00 $4241895.66 Asphalt Surface Technologies $368,374.62 $8207.20 $4501461.82 Corporation Valley Paving, Inc. $393,780.20 $651748.00 $4591528.20 Park Construction Company $4241918.05 $701950.30 $4951868.35 Landall Services LLC $4571356.50 $761867.40 $534,223.90 WHEREAS, the bid of North Valley, Inc. in the amount of$412,370.09 the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA:
