Assistant City Engineer 7550 Sunwood Drive NW Ramsey, MN 55303 RE: Proposal for Construction Staking Services, City of Ramsey—Juniper Woods 1st—3rd Street Reconstructions (City Project No. 24-12) Dear Mr. Feriancek: We appreciate the opportunity to assist the City of Ramsey with construction staking for the above referenced project. SCOPE OF WORK Bolton & Menk will complete the construction survey for the project. Per the plans, this project includes approximately 0.75 miles of street reclamation and trail reclamation. Staking generally includes: • 300 LF of Class 5 Aggregate Base Course staking (Waco Street between 150th Ave & 150th Ln), • Potentially staking centerline prior to paving, • Ute Street intersection, o Approximately 200 LF of curb and gutter between the median and curb returns o Valley gutter across Ute Street, o Concrete median with bull noses, and o Pedestrian ramp. • One storm sewer structure and 32 LF of pipe, • Subbase and Class 5 Aggregate Base Course for Approximately 100 LF of Bituminous Trail (along Alpine Drive) o We understand that most of the bituminous trail will be reclaimed, compacted in-place, and paved, and therefor shouldn't need staking, • 3 Pedestrian Ramps, and • Miscellaneous other staking as requested by the City. We will also complete the As-built Survey for Record Drawing creation. ASSUMPTIONS We have made the following assumptions in preparing this proposal: • No allowance is included for staking of removals, clearing, or right-of-way. • Replacing damaged or removed stakes is not included in our base fee.
