As Described on Exhibit 2: <br />That part of East Town Center Drive, as dedicated and delineated on RAMSEY <br />TOWN CENTER ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, lying easterly and northerly of the following described line: <br />Beginning at the southeast corner of Outlot N, said RAMSEY TOWN CENTER <br />ADDITION; thence South 00 degrees 01 minutes 11 seconds West, assumed <br />bearing along the southerly extension of the east line of said Outlot N, a distance <br />of 77.59 feet; thence 17.25 feet along a non -tangential curve, concave to the <br />southwest, having a radius of 330.00 feet, a central angle of 02 degrees 59 minutes <br />44 seconds, and a chord bearing of South 33 degrees 34 minutes 09 seconds East <br />to the westerly extension of the south line of Outlot B, RAMSEY TOWN CENTER <br />7TH ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota; thence North 89 degrees 59 minutes 43 seconds East, along said <br />westerly extension, a distance of 44.85 feet to the southwest corner of said Outlot <br />B and said line there terminating. <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing pursuant to Section 106-260 (Easement Vacation) of the <br />Ramsey City Code and Section 12.6 of the City Charter was held on January 23, 2024, and that <br />said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />available; <br />WHEREAS, Lumen and Comcast provided notice that those companies have utilities in <br />portions of the street rights -of -way; <br />WHEREAS, the intent of the vacating of road rights -of -way will facilitate a replat and <br />realignment of these roadways. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1. That the easement vacation will not violate the intent and purpose of the Comprehensive Plan. <br />2. That the easement vacation is necessary to accomplish the City's intended purpose of roadway <br />reconstruction and realignment. <br />3. That the City will work with the utility companies in the plans for reconstructing roadways. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of vacating the road rights -of -way, <br />as described above and shown on Exhibits 1 and 2. <br />Resolution #24-075 <br />Page2 of 3 <br />
