Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #24-062 RESOLUTION APPROVING VACATING VARIOUS EASEMENTS IN RAMSEY TOWN CENTER RECITALS WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey is requesting a vacation of various platted drainage and utility easements across properties it owns platted within: Outlots J and K, Ramsey Town Center, Anoka County, Minnesota WHEREAS, a public hearing pursuant to Section 106-260 (Easement Vacation) of the Ramsey City Code and Section 12.6 of the City Charter was held on March 12, 2024, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are available; WHEREAS, no utility company provided notice that they have utilities in any portions of the easements; WHEREAS, the intent of the vacating the easements will facilitate a replat of the properties. FINDINGS ,OF FACT 1. That the easement vacation will not violate the intent and purpose of the Comprehensive Plan. 2. That the easement vacation is necessary to accomplish the City's intended purpose of roadway reconstruction and realignment. 3. That no private utility companies responded objecting to the easement vacation. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of vacating the platted drainage and easements across said Outlots J and K, Ramsey Town Center, Anoka County, Minnesota, as shown on the attached Exhibit Vacation Exhibit. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Kuzma Councilmember Musgrove Councilmember Woestehoff Councilmember Howell Councilmember Olson Councilmember Riley Councilmember Specht
