CC Special Work Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: <br />Title: <br />Strategic Planning Session <br />03/19/2024 <br />Not Applicable <br />2. 3. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />On February 1, 2024 the City Council met with various staff members to conduct the first session of the 2024 <br />Strategic Planning Sessions. From that evening, the group generally recognized areas the city is doing well in and <br />areas the city could do better in. Further discussion included opportunities and impacts in the coming five years. <br />Following the evening, staff reviewed the 2023 Strategic Plan for amendments to propose to the City Council. <br />The existing plan includes action items that are in progress, and once complete, will improve the city. Many of <br />the identified items are reoccurring or ongoing. <br />Discussion on action items the City Council would like to see added or adjusted will be held.
