2. 1. <br />CC Special Work Session <br />Meeting Date: 03/19/2024 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Enhance City's communication through transparency and accountability. <br />Title: <br />Review 2024 Citizen Survey Questions <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The City has contracted with Polco to conduct a citizen survey in 2024. Previous surveys were completed in <br />2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020. The completed report is estimated to be delivered to the city on June 11, 2024, with <br />a review of the results by the City Council at the June 25, 2024 Work Session. To track trends over time, it is <br />recommended questions within the survey do not change over time. However, the City may adjust questions as <br />desired and did so in 2020 to some of the questions asked. The survey also included custom questions in the <br />past. These can be more pointed questions to a current issue or consideration to gather community feedback. The <br />custom questions from the 2020 survey were questions 13, 14 and 15 for reference. <br />To maintain the scheduled timeframe, the City Council is asked to review the questions and determine what <br />custom questions are desired to be asked. Staff will then forward the information to Polco and continue working <br />with them to administer the survey. Throughout the data collection period, a random sample of properties will <br />received a mailed invite to complete the survey.
