<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #24-083 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING RAMSEY FIRE DEPARTMENT’S SHAKOPEE <br />MDEWAKANTON SIOUX FUNDING REQUEST FOR AED REPLACEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey Fire Department has submitted a funding request <br />to the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Charitable Giving; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funding proceeds would be utilized for the replacement of eleven <br />LifePak brand AEDs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LifePak brand AEDs are utilized by the Ramsey Fire Department, <br />Ramsey Police Department and Allina EMS providing for efficient interoperability <br />between the department’s equipment when responding to medical emergencies in the <br />community. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Supports the Ramsey Fire Department’s request for funding through Charitable <br />Giving of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. <br />2) Expresses its appreciation on the consideration of funding to the Ramsey Fire <br />Department. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
