The event is free and open to the public. <br /> Representatives from a wide range of industries, including Construction/Trades, <br /> Education, Government, Healthcare, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Retail, Staffing, Technology, <br /> Transportation, and Warehouse sectors will be present at the event to talk with attendees. <br /> "Hiring events like this one, sponsored by the Anoka County Job Training Center and <br /> Anoka Technical College, offer opportunities to connect with employers and learn about jobs in a <br /> way that just isn't available when you're searching and applying for jobs online," said District 4 <br /> Anoka County Commissioner Scott Schulte, who serves on the county's Workforce Development <br /> Board and is present of the Minnesota Association of Workforce Boards. "Meeting employers in <br /> person and being able to ask questions is a definite advantage when it comes to landing a job." <br /> Event partners include Anoka County Job Training Center, Anoka County Transit, Anoka <br /> Ramsey Community College, Anoka Technical College, and Parent Aware. Bob FM will also be <br /> promoting the event by providing live cut-ins. <br /> Additional parking adjacent to the college is available in the Vista Outdoor lot.
