Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #24-090 <br /> RESOLUTION TO RE-APPOINT BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> WHEREAS, there are open seats on the City's boards and commissions as of April 1, <br /> 2024; and <br /> WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County <br /> Union, on the City's website, on QCTV, on the City's Facebook, on the Highway 10 sign and via <br /> the City's email notification system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on March 19, 2024; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following re-appointments to <br /> the boards and commissions, as follows: <br /> Environmental Thomas Hagerty 4-year full term (04-01-24 to 03-31-28) <br /> Policy Board Michael Heifner 4-year full term (04-01-24 to 03-31-28) <br /> Hassan Salami 4-year full term (04-01-24 to 03-31-28) <br /> Park and Recreation Megen Ealain 4-year full term (04-01-24 to 03-31-28) <br /> Commission <br /> Planning Commission Bruce Anderson 4-year full term (04-01-24 to 03-31-28) <br /> Economic Rachal Johnson 6-year full term (04-01-24 to 03-31-30) <br /> Development <br /> Authority <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) Motion to adopt resolution 424-090 as follows: <br /> Re-appoint the following members effective April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2028 to the <br /> Environmental Policy Board, Mr. Thomas Hagerty to a 4-year full term, Mr. Michael <br /> Heifner to a 4-year full term, Mr. Hassan Salami to a 4-year full term; and to the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission, Ms. Megen Ealain to a 4-year full term; and to the Planning <br /> Commission, Mr. Bruce Anderson to a 4-year full term; and <br /> Re-appoint the following member effective April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2030 to the <br /> Economic Development Authority, Ms. Rachal Johnson to a 6-year full term. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Olson,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />
