(Approved <br /> equal would include; a resin-based product, Trex brand or similar for decking.) <br /> • All connecting hardware used for provided play components (stand-alone or <br /> attached to platforms) must be zinc plated or stainless steel,free of protrusions, <br /> vandal resistant and have a tamper proof design. Service kit for tamper proof <br /> fasteners must also be provided. <br /> • Where connection of play equipment or component is into wood, all fasteners <br /> shall be galvanized, coated or stainless lag bolts a minimum of 3/8" diameter <br /> and of sufficient length. Decking screws and vertical member shall be fastened <br /> with galvanized, coated or stainless, a minimum of 3/16" and 1/4" flat <br /> washer/pan head screws or greater in size. All other connecting hardware <br /> (including fasteners for the Burke play equipment furnished by the City), shall <br /> be stainless steel and tamper resistant. <br /> • The plan view image shown below identifies the approximate deck platform <br /> heights above grade.
