Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #24-111 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND AUTHORIZING BIDDING FOR 2024 <br /> PAVEMENT REJUVENATION IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-09 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the <br /> bituminous pavement on public streets by applying pavement rejuvenators; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted budget for 2024 includes $575,000.00 for street <br /> maintenance contracted services, including to apply pavement rejuvenator on numerous public street <br /> segments in support of the City's Pavement Management Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#24-013, adopted January 9, 2024 the <br /> City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2024 Pavement <br /> Rejuvenation, Improvement Project#24-09, and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising <br /> for bids for 2024 Pavement Rejuvenation Improvements, Improvement Project#24-09. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the <br /> City Engineer and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City <br /> Improvement Project#24-09, 2024 Pavement Rejuvenation Improvements. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br />
