ORDINANCE #24-09 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 2 OF THE CITY CODE: <br /> "ADMINISTRATION" <br /> REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF DATA ON RESIDENTS. <br /> The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br /> Ramsey. <br /> SECTION 2. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 2 BY AMENDING ARTICLE I <br /> PROVISIONS BY INSERTING THE FOLLOWING: <br /> ARTICLE I.—GENERAL <br /> Sec. 2-4.—City collection of certain data. <br /> (a) For the purpose of providing better service or determining the effectiveness of service to <br /> its residents the city may seek certain data from residents from time to time. This maybe <br /> by general surveys, direct inquiries or other similar means. <br /> (b) Unless required by Federal or State laws, data related to religion, race, gender or political <br /> affiliation shall not be collected. <br /> SECTION 3. Sec. 2-5 —2-22 Reserved <br /> SECTION 4.
